Christmas at the Newport Mansions

During the Gilded Age, Newport, Rhode Island was a favorite summer location of the wealthy. Families like the Vanderbilts built luxurious mansions along the coast.  Many of them are now preserved as museums, and during Christmas a select few are decorated for the holiday. Below are some selected shots from The Elms, Marble House, and The Breakers.
