I had hoped to get some shots from the Head of the Riverfront Regatta on the Connecticut River this weekend, but by the time I arrived they had apparently finished. So I strolled along the riverfront. The first shot is the historic Colt Building in Hartford, framed by a tree that looks like it fell over when its roots were exposed from erosion of the riverbank. The other two shots are close ups of the same tree.
