Center Cemetery Lantern Tour

The Friends of Center Cemetery (in East Hartford, CT) had their 2013 Lantern Tour Program. I blogged about the cemetery here.  For the Lantern Tour, performers played the role of some of the individuals buried there, sharing their stories.  The performers did a great job, and they were fortunate to have a nice evening for it.

I was trying not to blind them with a flash, so I was shooting with my fast 50mm prime and high ISO.  I’m very thankful to Lightroom for helping me make them presentable – they weren’t great out of the camera.

As an aside, I have to say that luminaria using those battery powered candles do leave me longing for the classic (if perhaps less safe) version.
