The rituals of late summer in New England

September 15, 2013

Late summer and fall are great times to be in New England. Fresh apples right from the tree are a wonderful treat – and there are so many varieties available. We are fortunate to have a number of excellent orchards nearby.  Along the way, we pick up our mums to decorate the house.

  1. Several years ago we had the opportunity to attend a historic car race in your part of the country. The track was situated in an apple orchard and we were able to purchase the delicious treats. Very nice photos documenting the late summer days.
