Scenes from the Rose Garden

Elizabeth Park in Hartford is the oldest public rose garden in the United States, and the 3rd largest in the United States. The heat index has been in the high 90’s around here, so visiting during the morning “golden hours” was perfect.  I’m certainly no expert on roses, and I think I missed one of the peak periods by a couple of weeks.  It was beautiful nonetheless.  Here are a few of the shots I captured:
